Turn south onto Longwood Drive from Algonquin Road—the park is at the end, next to Eastview Elementary and Algonquin Middle Schools.

This recreation facility in Algonquin offers a variety of amenities for all ages. The pool features a diving board and plenty of chairs to accommodate sunbathers and swimmers. The pool is also available to rent for private pool parties through completion of the online application. The grounds, located conveniently near Snapper’s Field, include a playground, basketball court, baseball diamond, tennis court, and picnic area. There’s even enough open space for a game of soccer or football, making it a well-rounded destination for both relaxation and recreation.

The Village of Algonquin received an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant in 1997 from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to help develop this recreation facility.

Please note that the park operates from dawn to dusk, and actual opening and closing times may vary slightly based on the time of year. The pool generally operates from June through the beginning of the school year each year. Learn more about pool memberships and hours of operation.
