The Village of Algonquin is now accepting applications for its 2026 Community Event Sponsorship Program, inviting businesses, organizations, and nonprofits to partner with the Village to support community events and programs that bring residents together throughout the year. Sponsorships enhance these experiences while strengthening connections between local organizations and the community they serve.

Each year, Algonquin hosts a diverse lineup of family-friendly events that attract thousands of attendees. Opportunities are available across many of the Village’s most popular 2026 events, including the Algonquin Egg Hunt, Touch-a-Truck, outdoor and drive-in movie nights, the Summer Concert Series, Lunchapalooza children’s performances, National Night Out, Kite Fest, and Miracle on Main. Sponsorship contributions support entertainment, equipment rentals, children’s activities, giveaways, and other essential event elements.

Businesses and organizations that share the Village’s family-friendly, community-focused values and can provide meaningful financial or in-kind support are encouraged to participate. Organizations based in or near Algonquin receive priority consideration. Acceptance of a sponsorship does not imply Village endorsement.

The annual sponsorship process officially opens on December 1, with priority consideration for Algonquin-based businesses through January 31. Selected sponsors will be notified in early February, with signed sponsorship agreements and payment due within 30 days of acceptance.

Sponsors receive tiered recognition based on level of support, which may include logo placement, social media and website recognition, on-site visibility, verbal acknowledgments during events, inclusion in Village publications, and naming rights for select event series where applicable. Businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring one or more 2026 events can apply online through the Village’s sponsorship portal. The deadline to apply and complete final commitments will be no later than 90 days before each event to ensure full inclusion in promotional efforts.
