About the Sponsorship Program

Each year, the Village organizes a diverse lineup of events that foster community spirit and attract thousands of attendees. These programs provide sponsors with opportunities to connect with residents, support local traditions, and gain positive visibility.

Program Eligibility

Sponsorship opportunities are open to all businesses and organizations that:

Align with the family-friendly, community-focused values of the Village
Offer financial or in-kind support that provides a meaningful contribution
Are based in or near Algonquin (local businesses receive priority consideration)

Note: Acceptance of a sponsorship does not imply Village endorsement. All Village officials, employees, and local businesses are committed to upholding the Village’s Code of Ethics.

Timeline & How to Apply

The Village follows a structured annual process to ensure all sponsorships are reviewed consistently and fairly. Businesses and organizations interested in participating should review the steps below to understand when opportunities are released, how applications are evaluated, and the deadlines associated with confirming sponsorship for the year.

The timeline outlines each stage of the process—from the announcement of sponsorship opportunities to the final commitment deadline—so applicants can plan accordingly.

Application Period Opens	December 1	Sponsorship opportunities for the following year are announced.
Priority Deadline for Local Businesses	January 31	Algonquin-based businesses receive first consideration.
Selection & Agreements Issued	February	Chosen sponsors receive agreements to sign within 14 days.
Final Commitment Deadline	90 days before event	Ensures full inclusion in promotions and recognition.

How to Apply

The application process is straightforward and ensures each request is reviewed for alignment and community impact.

Submit an application for the events you are interested in sponsoring via the Village website.
The Village reviews applications based on alignment, prior participation, event size, and level of engagement.
Selected sponsors sign a Sponsorship Agreement and submit payment within 30 days.

Sponsorship Benefits

Sponsorships are available in tiered levels, offering recognition and visibility proportional to your contribution.

Opportunities May Include:

Logo placement on event materials, signage, and digital platforms
Recognition on social media and websites
On-site visibility (booth space, banners, displays)
Verbal acknowledgment during events
Inclusion in Village newsletters or seasonal brochures
Naming rights for select series or attractions (where applicable)
