Algonquin Public Right-of-Way ADA Transition Plan
- Build on existing data to complete a self-evaluation of sidewalks, multi-use paths, and intersections
- Identify locations along sidewalks, multi-use paths, and at intersections that limit accessibility
- Create an implementation roadmap that helps prioritize projects that improve accessibility
- Provide a clear path for providing feedback to the Village in the future regarding accessibility
- Incorporate public feedback provided by the community throughout the project

Do you use sidewalks or multi-use paths in Algonquin? Are there spots you find difficult to access? We want to hear from you!
A community survey will be available from June 3 through July 8, 2025.
This 16-question survey includes an interactive map where you can pinpoint specific locations that may present accessibility challenges. Your feedback will help the Village prioritize future improvements.
