The Village of Algonquin, IL

Harnish Drive east of Randall Road, facility is located on the northeast corner of Harnish Drive and Stonegate Road.

The Ganek Municipal Center houses the business offices for general government services for the Village of Algonquin. Departments at this location include:

• Community Development – The Community Development Department handles planning, zoning, building permits, inspections, and property maintenance.
• Finance – The Finance Department oversees the Village's finances, payroll, budgeting, water billing, and financial reporting.
• Human Resources – The Human Resources Department manages recruitment, employee benefits, training, and labor relations for Village staff.
• Police – The Police Department ensures public safety traffic enforcement, investigations, crime prevention, and community outreach.
• Recreation – Algonquin Recreation provides community programs that promote wellness, culture, and recreation.
