Willoughby Farms Park, located at 2001 Wynnfield Drive in Algonquin, spans 12 acres and serves as a vibrant community park offering a wide variety of recreational opportunities. The park features a playground, baseball diamond, basketball court (which converts into a seasonal ice rink), tennis and pickleball courts (reconstructed in 2023), walking trails, a surface water pond, open field space, and a picnic pavilion—making it a popular destination for residents of all ages.

Originally developed in 1996, Willoughby Farms Park has continued to evolve to meet the needs of the community. The Village of Algonquin developed a comprehensive master plan to guide future improvements and programming at the site. This long-term planning document shaped the park’s future design, land use, recreational offerings, and environmental stewardship efforts. It built upon the 2021 Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan and supported the park’s role as a destination for both neighborhood residents and the greater community.

Please note that the park operates from dawn to dusk, and restroom facilities are open from approximately May 1 to October 15, weather permitting.
