The Village of Algonquin, IL

Head south on Main Street from Algonquin Road, turn right on Huntington Drive, then take either direction on Circle Drive at the stop sign to reach the park.

Hill Climb Park in Algonquin spans 21 acres, including 6 acres of active park space, and is divided by Huntington Drive to offer a variety of recreational opportunities. South of Huntington Drive, you’ll find a half basketball court, a mid-sized field perfect for athletic activities, and a shelter that is available for reservation by completing the online application. North of Huntington Drive, there’s a circular walking path, a swing set, scattered small play equipment, and a playground. The park’s highlight is the observation clearing to the north, which offers a scenic view of Algonquin. Both sides of the park feature convenient parking lots.

This park is a recognized historic site by the Village of Algonquin. 

Please note that the park operates from dawn to dusk, and actual opening and closing times may vary slightly based on the time of year.
