Support Algonquin Restaurants and Businesses
The Village asks that residents please support Algonquin’s small restaurants and businesses, many of which have pickup, delivery and/or other service accommodations. The Village, in cooperation with the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce, has compiled service information about local restaurants and businesses which includes a quick guide for local grub, companies that are urgently hiring, and senior shopping hours and locations.

Senior Shopping Hours
Hours have been established by stores throughout the community to assist the elderly and vulnerable populations with shopping for essential items during the pandemic. The days, hours, and locations can be viewed on our websites events calendar or by clicking the link below.

Winter Parking Regulations Suspended
The Village of Algonquin will be suspending winter parking regulations effective immediately. Overnight parking on Village streets will now be permitted, unless otherwise marked. The Village does request that, in the event of a measurable snow event, residents do make every attempt to move vehicles off local roadways to allow road crews to safely plow snow.
