Randall Road Construction Update
A series of lane closures will take place in coming weeks as utility work is done on Randall Road. Lanes closures will take place on Randall and Algonquin Roads as improvements are done. For more information and updates, please click below. As always, proceed through these construction zones with caution.

Algonquin-Cary Subarea Plan Survey
The villages of Algonquin and Cary are developing a plan for the quarries along Route 31 near Virginia Road. We invite you to share your thoughts and priorities on the plan by taking the online survey by clicking "more."

Sleepy Hollow Road Construction
The first phase of construction on Sleepy Hollow Road, taking place north of Longmeadow Parkway and south of County Line Road, will continue through August. See progress details and detour information by clicking below.

Document Shredding Event
This event will be held Saturday, June 8 at the Public Works Facility (110 Meyer Drive, Algonquin) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Participants must verify they are a resident of the Village of Algonquin and are limited to eight (8) standard-sized bankers boxes per vehicle. 12th Annual Algonquin's Art on the Fox
Algonquin's Art on the Fox Fine Art Show is held annually in downtown Algonquin. This year, due to construction, the event will be held in Towne Park (100 Jefferson Street). Join us June 15 - 16 as we celebrate the 12th year of this wonderful event.

Algonquin Receives Award for Popular Annual Financial Report
The Village of Algonquin received an award from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for its first Popular Annual Financial Report, a condensed version of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report that focuses on readability.

Algonquin FY 19/20 Budget
The fiscal year 2019 - 2020 operating and capital budget is now available online. The annual budget represents the single most important policy adopted each year in any municipal organization. Click "more" to learn more about this important document.

Village Water Meter Replacement Program
The Village of Algonquin has begun replacing residential and commercial water meters Village-wide through United Meters, Inc. On average, the existing mechanical meters are nearing or exceeding their expected service life. The new meters will replace these units with new technology; offering enhanced efficiency and streamlined meter readings. For a complete overview of the program, please click "more".

Water Conservation Regulations
The Village of Algonquin continues to take a pro-active role in the conservation of water. The overall goal of the water conservation program is to educate residents and businesses about the ease of conserving water and the importance of conservation. The Village regulations are explained in this pamphlet as well as conservation tips you can practice at home.

Having a Garage Sale?
As the weather warms up garage sale season is gearing up. The Village does not require a permit to have a garage sale, however, each property is limited to no more than three sales per year.
