The Village of Algonquin, IL

The Village of Algonquin (Section 5.09) does not allow oversize vehicles over 10 tons (20,000 lbs) to traverse the Village streets unless they are making specific deliveries to an Algonquin address OR carrying this approved permit.  This application must arrive at the Algonquin Police Department at least 24 hours prior to moving the equipment on Village streets, and be approved by both Public Works and the Police Department.  Use this form to obtain a permit to move an over sized or over weight truck within the village limits.  Please complete the form, print and fax to the number listed on the permit application.
