MFT Map

Project Overview

The Village of Algonquin’s annual MFT (Motor Fuel Tax) Concrete Program includes the replacement and repair of deteriorated sidewalks, curb and gutter, and other concrete infrastructure at various locations throughout the community. The program is part of the Village’s ongoing roadway maintenance and infrastructure preservation efforts funded in part through Illinois Motor Fuel Tax revenues.

Why this Project is Needed

  • Curb and gutter replacement
  • ADA Curb Ramps and tactile warning panel improvements
  • Restoration of disturbed parkway areas

Anticipated Timeline

Impact During Construction

Suburban Concrete, Inc. will complete the removal and replacement work in the areas identified on the map above. Residents may experience temporary sidewalk closures, restricted driveway access, lane closures, construction noise, and short-term traffic delays within active work zones.

Residents will be notified at least 24 hours in advance if driveway access will be temporarily restricted during sidewalk replacement operations.
