Algonquin Founders' Days Festival Join the community for the annual Algonquin Founders' Days celebration from July 20 to July 23 at Spella Park, 2610 Harnish Drive, featuring the Founders' Day Parade on July 22 at 11:00 a.m. in Old Town Algonquin.
Village Offices Closed | July 4 The Ganek Municipal Center and Public Works Facility in Algonquin will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Groot refuse, recycling, and yard waste collection will be delayed by one day.
Summer Concert Lineup Announced Don't miss the Algonquin Summer Concerts every Thursday evening at Towne Park, 100 Jefferson Street, starting at 7:00 p.m. Four concerts will be taking place in July, with one taking place at Spella Park for Founders' Days. Community Visioning Workshop | July 25 Join us at the Algonquin Comprehensive Plan Community Visioning Workshop on July 25, at St. John's located at 300 Jefferson Street, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., to share your vision for Algonquin's future. Participate in breakout groups, build consensus on the town's character, and identify desirable projects and improvements. Your input is essential in crafting the Plan, and everyone is encouraged to attend this key event.
