The Village operates on a lean staffing structure that reflects a high percentage of long-term employees with low annual turnover. Depending on available funds and service level needs, new positions may be added to departmental budgets effective May 1st of each year, with vacancies occasionally arising at other times, which may or may not be filled.

Applications will be included with posted vacancies and must be received by 5:00 p.m. CST on the closing date of the job posting.  If you are applying for a current Police Officer recruitment, please ensure you complete the Police Officer Application.  All other applications WILL NOT be accepted.

If you are interested in a position that is not currently available, please complete the Employment Interest Card with your information.  If a position becomes available within six months of submitting the Interest Card, a recruitment notice and employment application will be sent directly to you.
