The Village of Algonquin, IL

The Longmeadow/Randall Project Area is located at the southwest corner of Randall Road and Longmeadow Parkway. Previously situated in unincorporated Kane County, this area became part of the Village of Algonquin as part of a redevelopment initiative.

In 2021, the Village of Algonquin conducted an analysis to determine the qualification of the area for a Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District. Following this analysis, the Algonquin Village Board formally adopted the Longmeadow and Randall TIF District on December 7, 2021. The TIF District is designed to support redevelopment efforts, including comprehensive stormwater management, to attract private investment and ensure long-term growth for the area.
