From Main Street, go east on Algonquin Road, turn left on Highland Avenue, and the park will be on your left.

Presidential Park in Algonquin spans 19 acres, including 16 acres of active park space and 3 acres of natural area. As a major community park, it offers a wide range of recreational amenities designed for all ages. Recent improvements include a new multi-age playground and challenge course, upgraded baseball and softball facilities with modern amenities and enhanced landscaping, and improved soccer fields and walking paths. The park also features a new monument sign with baseball and softball-themed entryway signage, new lighting throughout, resurfaced parking, and upgraded concession and restroom facilities.

The Village of Algonquin received Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grants from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources in 1990 and 1993 to help develop the park. In 2024, the Village was awarded an additional OSLAD grant to support the park’s redevelopment and continued enhancement.

Please note that the park operates from dawn to dusk, and restroom facilities are generally open from May 1 to October 15, weather permitting.
