The Village of Algonquin, IL

From Randall Road, head west on Bunker Hill Drive, turn left on Square Barn Road, and the park will be on your right near the School District 158 campus.

Kelliher Park in Algonquin spans 28.5 acres, including 15 acres of active park space and 13.5 acres of natural area dedicated to stormwater management and wetlands. Dedicated in 2002, this well-equipped community park serves residents of western Algonquin with a variety of recreational amenities. Visitors can enjoy two lighted baseball diamonds, a playground, a basketball court, a tennis court, a multi-purpose field, public washrooms, benches, and access to a bike path system.

The Village of Algonquin received an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant in 2001 from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to help develop this park facility.

Please note that the park operates from dawn to dusk, and restroom facilities are open from approximately May 1 to October 15, weather permitting.
