General Primary Election Information

The General Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Illinois elections follow a standard schedule, with general primaries held in March and general elections in November during even-numbered years, and consolidated primaries and elections for local offices held in February and April during odd-numbered years.

Kane County Residents
