Event Description:

An open house will be held on June 26, 2024, from 5-7 PM at the Ganek Municipal Center, to discuss the planned improvements to Boyer Road. This event offers a chance for the community to learn about the project details, ask questions, and provide input.

The improvements to Boyer Road from Longmeadow Parkway to County Line Road include widening and resurfacing the road, adding new sidewalks and paths for walking and biking, and installing a new water main. These upgrades are planned to enhance road safety, improve travel conditions, and accommodate increasing traffic demands. Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in Winter 2025/Spring 2026 and is expected to be completed Fall 2026. The project is funded by 60% Federal Surface Transportation Funds and 40% local funds from the Village.
