Event Description:
The Village of Algonquin, pursuant to state statute, has established a police pension fund for the benefit of its police officers and of their surviving spouses, children, and certain other dependents. A five-member Police Pension Board administers the pension fund for the Village. Of those persons appointed to the Police Pension Board by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Village Board, one (1) is required to be a resident of the Village.
The Police Pension Board meets quarterly, on the last Wednesday of January, April, July, and October at 5:00 PM. See below for meeting information:
