Event Description:

The Village of Algonquin suggested hours for trick-or-treating will be on Sunday, October 31 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for those choosing to participate. Remember to turn a porch light on if you are home and will be handing out treats.  Other tips for a safe and fun Halloween include:

• Individuals should use hand sanitizer regularly throughout the trick-or-treat hours and wash hands getting home.
• Watch for traffic, obey all traffic signs and never cross the street between parked cars/in the middle of the block.
• Children should carry or wear something lit or visible, such as a flashlight, glow bracelet or necklace or flashing attire. At least one person in each group should carry a flashlight.
