Many customers pay their water and sewer utility bills by using their bank or financial institution's online bill pay system.  In most cases, bill pay through financial institutions will generate a paper check that is mailed to the Village for payment; however, the payment can be converted to an electronic funds transfer (EFT) which serves a more secure and timely way to pay your bill.

To make sure your payment is sent electronically versus paper, please verify the following settings with your bank or financial institution's online bill pay:

• Account Number: Your account number should include both the ACCOUNT NUMBER and your CUSTOMER NUMBER separated by a DASH. Both numbers can be retrieved from your water and sewer utility bill and should be formatted for EFT as shown below:

 Example: 1234567-123456
 Your account number is seven (7) digits, your customer number is six (6) digits.

• Mailing Address: The mailing address should be as follows, with DRIVE spelled out and the ZIP+4, exactly as shown below:
