Village Construction Projects - Planned Projects - Neubert Water Main Replacement
The Village of Algonquin is expected to begin the Neubert Water Main Replacement project in 2026. The work is expected to be completed by Summer 2026, weather permitting.
This project will include:
Replacing an undersized water main that feeds Neubert Elementary School.
Loop the new water main for improved reliability, fire flows, and redundancy at Huntington Drive.
Addition of a new fire hydrant for improved coverage of the school.
Coordination with the School and District 300 to minimize impacts to students and teachers.
Project Area:
The construction for this project will center around Neubert Elementary School. But will include a new route along Stoneybrook Court with a connection to Huntington Drive for improved reliability. The intersection of Huntington Road and Harnish Drive will also be affected to complete the connection just east of the school. Safety fences and precautions will be in place to protect students and visitors to the school with minimal impacts.
