Village Construction Projects - Planned Projects - County Line Road Improvements – Boyer Road to Hanson Road
The Village of Algonquin is expected to begin the County Line Road Improvements project in Spring 2027. The work is expected to be completed by Fall 2027, weather permitting.
This project will include:
Replacement of the asphalt roadway surface for a smoother commute
Replacement of aging multi-use paths updates to sidewalks, ADA ramps, and curbs
Drainage improvements and environmental enhancements
Pedestrian signal crossing upgrades at County Line and the Walmart entrance
Project Area:
The construction will take place on the entire segment of County Line Road, from Boyer Road to Hanson Road (excluding the Randall Road intersection). Temporary lane closures and lane reductions will be required to complete this project safely and efficiently.
