| Conservation Community Day - June 18 |

This year's Conservation Community Day theme is "From the Faucet to the Watershed." Join us to learn about how you can conserve resources and preserve our natural environment. You will also meet representatives from local environmental organizations. Conservation Community Day will take place on June 18 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on the Woods Creek bike path located between Bunker Hill Drive and Woods Creek Lane.The event is FREE and fun for the entire family.

| E-Waste Recycling Event |

Dispose of your old, unwanted electronics at the Village of Algonquin's E-Waste Recycling Event on Saturday, August 14, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event will be held at the Public Works Facility, 110 Meyer Drive, and is only open to Village of Algonquin residents.

Warm weather is in the air and that means the Downtown Algonquin Farmers Market is open for the summer! The market is being held every Thursday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the municipal parking lot on South Harrison Street.

Spend a delightful weekend viewing artwork along Downtown Algonquin's winding riverwalk. The third annual Algonquin Art on the Fox show will be held in beautiful Riverfront Park in the heart of the community's historic downtown on Saturday, June 5, and Sunday, June 6.

The "Once Upon a Town" series is brought to you by the Village of Algonquin's Historic Commission. This month the Historic Commission describes the 50 years of the Algonquin Founders' Days Festival. Anyone interested in learning more of Algonquin's past is welcome to attend a Historic Commission Workshop which are held on the third and fourth Saturdays of each month at Historic Village Hall.

| CMAP "GO TO 2040" Plan Open House |

Algonquin residents have an opportunity to provide input on the draft GO TO 2040 comprehensive regional plan for northeastern Illinois. The open house will feature a presentation to be followed by a question-and-answer period.
