The Village of Algonquin's 4th annual Art on the Fox will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19. Once again the fine art show will be held in beautiful Riverfront Park, which overlooks the scenic Fox River in the heart of the community's historic downtown. The event is free and open to the public
Riverfront Park is located on North Harrison Street, just one block north of Algonquin Road (IL Route 62). Local artists will be performing demonstrations and have artwork for sale in a variety of media; specifically, more than 30 artist booths will be situated along Riverfront Park's winding riverwalk and include paintings, photography, jewelry, ceramics, glass, as well as sculptures. Live music is scheduled to be performed in the park's central plaza during the show as well: "Uncle Zesty's Old Time Bootknockers" will play folk and bluegrass music on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday afternoon Mary Lai, Merv Collins, and Don Humbertson will perform folk and acoustic guitar music.
