Our guys really get into their work!
Algonquin's Park system consists of 21 parks, and 2 open space, free play areas.
Between all parks and play spaces we have :

12 ball diamonds

9 pavilion/picnic shelters

19 multi-purpose fields for football and soccer

Our Parks & forestry crews mow 64 sites a week during mowing season which consists of over 230 acres. Our sports fields are mowed twice a week during the playing season.
We empty 73 trash cans 2 to 3 times a week, and clean site litter from courts and pavilion surfaces 2 to 3 times a week. This doesn't include separate issues of vandalism, broken playground equipment, site littering, illegal dumping and turf quality.
We have 5 public restroom facilities which are cleaned 2 to 3 times a week.
All 21 playgrounds are certified monthly.
We water all village planter areas at least once a week during growing season.
