Algonquin Road Resurfacing - August 7
Beginning the week of August 7, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will begin resurfacing Main Street to Countryside Drive. The project may take approximately 3 months to complete. Please direct any questions, comments, or concerns directly to IDOT. Reference project number 62D50. Click "more" for details regarding this project.

Refuse & Yard Waste Rate Increase
Effective September 1, 2017, Groot refuse & yard waste services will increase. Click "more" for a list of Groot's services and the rate schedule. Please be advised that any stickers purchased prior to the rate increase WILL be honored after the increase.

Summer Concerts at Riverfront Park

Pool Theme Nights - August 4 and 18

Fall Program Registration Open!
The Algonquin Recreation Fall Brochure is now available online. Registration for fall programs is now open as of August 1. Brochures will be mailed out the week of August 15.

FY 17/18 Budget Available Online
On April 4, 2017, the Village Board unanimously approved the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 annual budget for the Village of Algonquin. The Village’s $49.1 million budget is used as a tool to assist Village officials in making sound and rational choices for the provision of public services. The FY 17/18 budget maintains core service levels with continued investment in infrastructure.

2016 Annual Water Quality Report
The 2016 Annual Water Quality Report is now available! The Consumer Confidence Report, or CCR, is an annual water quality report that the Safe Drinking Water Act requires a community water system to provide to its customers. Click "more" to see this important report.
