Village Partners with State for Liquor Inspection Pilot Program
In an effort to improve the allocation of alcohol beverage compliance resources, the State of Illinois and the Village of Algonquin have recently joined forces to launch the Algonquin Liquor Inspection Pilot Program. Under the agreement, the Algonquin Police Department has begun carrying out Standard Liquor Inspections for all Algonquin license holders on behalf of the State of Illinois.

Electronics Recycling Options
Residents should call Groot directly at 800-244-1977 to schedule a pickup of electronic waste at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service day. Groot will collect up to 6 electronic waste items for $30.00

Algonquin FY 17/18 Budget
The fiscal year 2017 - 2018 operating and capital budget is now available online. The annual budget represents the single most important policy adopted each year in any municipal organization.

Hydrant Flushing Schedule
As a regular maintenance practice, the Village of Algonquin Utilities Division flushes all fire hydrants throughout the Village twice a year.

Conservation @ Home
The Conservation@Home program can help you make your yard more attractive to wildlife and retain precious rainwater by planting native plants, creating butterfly and rain gardens, using rain barrels and removing exotic species of plants. Last day to order is May 11.
