Algonquin Receives Award for Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
The Government Finance Officers Association has awarded the Village of Algonquin a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 13th consecutive year.

Flashlight Egg Hunt Calendar Correction
There is a correction on the date for this special event. The date on the Village calendar is incorrect. Please attend this event on March 10.

2017 Snowman Photo Contest
There is still time to submit your entry for our 2017 Snowman Photo contest, winners will be published in a future recreation guide and on our website. Deadline March 10.

Spring Cleanup
In April, the Village, along with Groot, will sponsor a Village-wide cleanup program for single-family residences and townhomes that currently receive residential refuse and recycling services.

Free Leaf and Brush Collection
Free leaf and brush collection for Algonquin residents by Groot will begin on April 6 and will continue through April 14.

Rain Barrel and Composter Sale
Spring will be here soon! As you begin to think about planting your flowers and vegetable gardens, plan ahead with an easy way to water your plants. Purchase a rain barrel for your watering needs this summer to save money and give your plants fresh water.

Consolidated Election Voter Information

Art on the Fox Fine Art Show is held annually in downtown Algonquin, Illinois along the banks of the Fox River. Join us in June of 2017 as we celebrate the 9th year of this wonderful event.

March 20-26 is national fix a leak week, follow these tips to conserve water and find unknown leaks in your home.

Winter Parking Regulations Effective until April
Winter parking regulations are in effect between October 31 and April 15 of each year.
