Public Arts Commission (PAC) members are appointed by the Village Board. The PAC is an ad-hoc advisory body to the Village Board and is charged with "the purpose and goal of fostering the placement of public art throughout the community consistent with the Algonquin Public Art Master Plan". The PAC works closely with Village staff to carry out several duties, including: recommending public art program policies and procedures; coordinating public art loans and artwork submittals; formulating Public Art Display Plans; and coordinating art education and appreciation programs.
