The Village of Algonquin is very proud of our community's natural resources and has created a variety of programs to help ensure continued protection and enhancement of these areas. These programs are collectively called "The Conservation Community Program."

Conservation Community Day
"How Big Is Your Footprint?"
Friday, June 17, 2011
11:00am to 2:00pm
Woods Creek bike path located between Bunker Hill Drive and Woodscreek Lane.
 
This year's theme is "How Big Is Your Footprint?"  Join us to learn about how you can conserve resources and preserve our natural enviroment. You will also meet representatives from local environmental organizations.  The event is free and fun for the entire family.  Lessen your carbon footprint and bring your old gym shoes for recycling!
 
If you are interested in the environment, gather your friends and family and come out to the Woods Creek bike path on June 17th from 11:00am-2:00pm.
