    A Flood Warning is in effect for the Fox River in Algonquin until further notice. If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternate route.

    Cornish and Towne Park Closed
    Cornish Park and Towne Park in Algonquin are CLOSED due to the Flood Warning on the Fox River. Access to the parks is prohibited until further notice.

    The Village is currently accepting artwork submissions for its 11th edition public art program – the application deadline is August 4, 2017.

Algonquin is formally organized under the Trustee-Village form of government, and combines the strong political leadership of elected officials with the strong professional experience of an appointed local government administrator. The Board consists of a President, six Trustees, and a Village Clerk, elected at-large to serve overlapping four-year terms.
